Mrs. Christina HolzerWe are pleased to reintroduce Mrs. Christina Holzer, who continues her leadership role as Dean at Ascent Classical Academy.
Originally from Louisville, Illinois, Mrs. Holzer brings a rich background in both classroom instruction and educational leadership. She joined our faculty in November 2024, and her presence has been marked by a steady calm, an unwavering commitment to the mission of classical education, and a deep care for the people within our school community.
Mrs. Holzer holds a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Educational Leadership at Regent University. Her passion for classical education stems from its clarity of purpose and timeless approach to forming the whole person – both heart and mind.
“Classical education teaches students that there is objective truth and encourages them to discover it,” she explains. “It’s such a beautiful way to approach education.”
Among her heroes is George Washington Carver, whose humility, resilience, and belief in education as a vehicle for both intellectual growth and service to others deeply inspire her.
Outside of school, Mrs. Holzer enjoys camping and snowboarding with her husband and their three sons – all of whom attend Ascent. Her role here is both a professional calling and a personal investment.
