Ms. Madeline TaylorWe are delighted to welcome back Ms. Madeline Taylor, who continues her work at Ascent Classical Academy as a Teaching Assistant.
Ms. Taylor joined our faculty in January 2025, supporting our kindergarten classroom with kindness, energy, and thoughtful care. A native of Prior Lake, Minnesota, she has lived in Rock Hill, South Carolina for several years. She graduated from St. Anne Catholic High School and completed two years at Louisiana State University before returning to South Carolina. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree while working with our youngest scholars.
Ms. Taylor was drawn to classical education for its emphasis on seeking wisdom, fostering intellectual curiosity, and encouraging moral development. She writes, “Classical education encourages students to seek wisdom, not just knowledge, and inspires students to think about the larger questions of life and purpose.”
Her favorite author is Jane Austen, whose insight into human nature continues to inspire her. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, reading, taking walks, and spending time with her friends and family.
As she begins her first full school year at Ascent, Ms. Taylor shares, “I am looking forward to all of it – especially meeting new students and continuing to learn alongside them.”
